The secureDISC appliance allows imaging centers, sub-specialty practices and hospitals to easily produce CD’s and DVD’s for patients and referring physicians. secureDISC is an automated platform that burns and labels the CD or DVD, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Readable
The DICOM data that is burned to CD or DVD can be viewed by the patient or referring physician using an embedded viewer either on a PC or Mac, or it can be accessed using third party DICOM-compliant viewing software.
Easy
secureDISC uses world-class CD and DVD production technologies developed by Primera to burn and label the CD or DVD for your patient. Because the secureDISC appliance is self-managed, all that is required to produce a CD or DVD is a DICOM export to secureDISC.
Fast
Each CD or DVD takes approximately one minute to produce and is logged for auditing purposes.
Safe
secureDISC can be configured to deep archive the studies that are performed at your practice to DVD, automatically. DVD’s can be stored off-site for disaster recovery applications should your primary archive fail.
